Let’s start with the best locations where a wildlife artist can get the maximum inspiration. For the photography enthusiast this reserve is a must visit place for you. Located at the South west side of Kenya, Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wildlife reserves here. I am sure you have definitely heard about the Wild Beast Migration or the Great Migration which takes places here. And if not then guys you should add this place on your bucket list. Photographers visit this place every year to take some of their best shots and believe me guys you will absolutely find that perfect shot here. You will also find some other wildlife here like Masai lions, African leopards and Tanzanian cheetahs and Thomson’s gazelle.
Finland: Wolverines have an almost mythical reputation, so rare is it to see them in the wild. But we have a tour operator with a secret, one that takes you to a remote woodland cabin where baiting, an admittedly controversial practise, has led to daily visits from wolverines and a very good chance of seeing them from nearby hides. Camera traps, thermal imaging and night vision may all be employed but much of the time you’ll be either in a hide or a vehicle, with little walking involved.
An original painting in acrylics, on a card base. Painted on 26th / 27th May 2019 as an original piece during my 24-hour “Paint for Wildlife” paintathon, one of 19 original wildlife paintings I produced during the twenty four hours. Unframed and unmounted. It measures 21.0cm (8.27 inches) wide by 29.7cm (11.69 inches) high. This will be carefully packed in a study cardboard box. I always try to send items out the next working day after payment has been received, where possible. All items are sent by tracked mail. Find even more information on Wildlife Original Paintings.
Environmentally friendly products! Prior to the production of my first item this year, my conservation charity notebooks (pictured above), I did a vast amount of research to find suppliers that are themselves eco-conscious, and that allow me to fully commit to the change into environmentally friendly products in order to leave a smaller footprint on the planet. I myself will also be sending out products launched from 2020 onwards only in recyclable packaging that is 100% free from plastic, using plastic free tape that is biodegradable, recyclable, and compostable!
2015 – Teenage Entrepreneur Market, Stoke: I took the opportunity to take a sizeable stand at a busy shopping location in Stoke-on-Trent, where I exhibited and offered for sale many of my original pieces and prints. 2012 – Williamson Art Gallery Spring Exhibition: For this competition, I entered a piece that I had completed whilst at school. Inspired by the artwork of Jason Morgan, I used acrylic paints to depict the majesty of a silver back gorilla. Find more information on www.vlgstudios.com.
